Tuesday March 12 was our 16 year Anniversary!! We’d like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has supported our store over the last 16 years, we couldn’t have done it without all of our great clients!! Dina and Kathy went to Chicago recently to take a week long cutting class at Vidal Sasoon! They learned lots of new great techniques for cutting short hair! So if you’re in the market for a new short do, come in and see one of them!

In January we had an in-salon curly cutting class with Aveda educator Kim Weaver Moore. She taught our stylists lots of great techniques for cutting curly hair.
We raised $1800 for the Wounded Warrior Project and $680 for the American Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

Aveda Bethesda recently held an updo training day with Kim Moore! Everyone learned some great new techniques and beautiful new styles for updos. So if you have a wedding, or special occasion to go to and you want to put your hair up, we’ve got the looks for you!

We are having a raffle this month to help raise money for Earth Day! This week, Adrienne and Allegra both attended the Jewels of the Earth cutting class at the Aveda Education Center in Old Towne Alexandria. Dina went to Chicago to take a Vidal Sassoon Men’s cutting class, which is also great for women with short haircuts!

Aveda Bethesda is doing a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project! 10 Lucky Winners will receive a $100 gift card to the Aveda Bethesda Salon and Spa! We are selling raffle tickets for $10 each for your chance to win a $100 gift card, and make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project. The Bethesda Urban Partnership has a FREE bus called the Bethesda Circulator that runs a continuous loop around downtown Bethesda. It runs Monday – Friday 7am – 11pm, and Saturday 10am – midnight. Elizabeth just attended the Jewels of the Earth Cutting class with Juan Perez at the Aveda Education Center. The collection uses clean lines and strong shapes.
